The 2025 Mister & Miss Hampton University Scholarship Pageant

Rooted at the intersection of fashion and identity, the 2025-2026 Mister & Miss Hampton University Scholarship Pageants reimagines royalty through a modern lens.

Inspired by the storytelling power of Essence and the polish of GQ, the visual direction centers bold expression, cultural influence, and elevated styling—creating a look that feels both editorial and intentional.

The campaign strategy centered on a phased media rollout, combining editorial-style visuals with dynamic video content to build momentum leading up to the event. Individual “cover” reveals and curated video themes allowed each contestant to establish their personal brand, while maintaining a consistent, high-fashion narrative inspired by Essence and GQ.
